DIEN BIEN MOTORBIKE TOUR 4 days

This motorbike tour in Dien Bien is regarded as the premier experience in the Northwest region of Vietnam, allowing participants to discover the stunning landscapes of the Tua Chua plateau and the Da River. This tour is often considered superior to the Ha Giang loop motorbike tour in the Northeast, primarily due to the absence of tourists, providing a unique sense of solitude. Travelers will have the opportunity to engage with various ethnic minority groups, including the Black Thai, Kho Mu, Xa, Cong, Xa Phang, and Dao, while also gaining insights into the historical significance of the Dien Bien Phu victory in 1954.

  1. Dien Bien – Huoi Leng, 100km

Upon our arrival at Dien Bien Phu airport, all preparations will be in place. We will embark on our journey!

Our exploration will take us through villages inhabited by ethnic minorities such as the Thai, Kho Mu, and H’Mong, where we will delve into the migration history of the H’Mong tribe as they settled in the northwest.

The narrow roads, resembling threads along the peaks of the mountains, will guide us to the Xa Phang ethnic village, one of Vietnam’s smallest ethnic groups, with a population of approximately 2,000. Here, we will immerse ourselves in the cultural characteristics of the Xa Phang people.

  1. Huoi Leng – Huoi So, 150km

As dawn breaks with the crowing of roosters, we will step outside to witness the valley enveloped in a sea of white clouds, resembling a scene from a fairy tale!

This day promises to be extraordinary; together, we will venture into the untouched landscapes of Dien Bien, traversing highland roads that lead us to the Tua Chua stone plateau and the Da River, which gradually comes into view. We will enter the enchanting realm of the Northwest, characterized by its majestic mountains, poetic forests, and rugged rocks, alongside ancient tea trees that tower as high as several meters. Words may fail to capture the paradise that unfolds before us. We will explore the diverse cultures, customs, and traditions of various ethnic groups, including the Xa Phang, H’Mong, and Dao.

We will keep the specifics of our itinerary a secret to ensure a delightful surprise awaits you today!

In the afternoon, upon our arrival at the village, we will embark on a boat journey to explore and swim in the Da River for approximately one hour. As evening approaches, we will spend the night in a charming small hamlet situated along the river. Although this area lacks electricity, it is of little concern given the breathtaking natural beauty that surrounds us. The accommodations provide hot water for bathing, warm blankets, and comfortable mattresses, along with an evening filled with local delicacies from the Da River.
