DIEN BIEN MOTORBIKE TOURS
- Dien Bien – Cha Cang, 160km
In the morning, meet up at our departure point at 7:30 for a coffee and one more time breefing about the Northwest Vietnam motorbike tour start at Dien Bien Phu city.
8:30 we leave Dien Bien Phu ride along the road No12 direction to Lai Chau with beautiful rice terraces and ethnic villages of Kho Mu, Xa, Thai and Cong. We will stop in a village of Cong ethnic on the side of a river to learn about their daily lives.
The continuous riding will be heading on small road zig zag in the mountain to the area of H’Mong ethnic bordering to Laos.
In the afternoon, there will be some dirt road along the river to Cha Cang where we will stay in a village of White Thai ethnic for the night.

After breakfast at the family, we keep riding our motorbike again heading to Muong Nhe where we will visit a local market and then heading to Chung Chai for lunch in a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, this motorbike tour road in the Northwest will take you into a very remote where there are very few tourist pass by this road per year but the road running through rain forest and you also have chance to visit many different ethnic villages like Ha Nhi, La Hu, Xa La Vang…
In the late afternoon, we will follow the Da River riding on a spectacular scenery road to Muong Te, where we will spend a night.

Today we will explore the Da River by road for about 100km with scenic mountain and water views, remote area without traffic. We will stop in some ethnic villages before having lunch in a small village.
After lunch, we will take a boat trip for about 40 minutes with our motorbike to go down stream of the river, enjoy amazing landscape then the boat will drop us off to Muong Lay town.
The rest 50km today we continue our motorbike tour heading up Xa Tong Pass along a small cement road leading to the top of the mountain, taking us to the village of the Xa Phang ethnic group – one of the ethnic minorities with about 2,000 people and only in Dien Bien – located at an altitude of 1,300m above sea level with beautiful traditional houses.
When arrive to the village, we will hike around to learn about the local villagers

In the early morning, we may wake up early to enjoy the beautiful cloud before breakfast.
We will take a short cut over the mountain to ride back to Road No 6 and then follow the Nam Muc River with beautiful rice terraces and ethnic village.
In the afternoon, we will ride to Muong Phang village of Black Thai ethnic where we will hike for about an hour to visit the Headquarter of Dien Bien Phu Campaign where General Vo Nguyen Giap stay during the Dien Bien Phu Battle from 31/1 – 15/5/1954.
In the later afternoon, we ride through forest down to Dien Bien Phu city
