Description
- Hanoi – Tram Tau, 250km (transfer by car and truck for 150km)
Our trucks have left the city in the early morning with all the bikes loaded in the trucks and transfer out to Thu Cuc villages and waiting for all riders at a coffee.
- 7:00 AM our tour guide and car will pick you up from the hotel and transfer to the bike meeting point.
- 9:30 coffee time and prepare your bikes
- 10:00 the adventure start
Our adventure starts right on the mountain pass to avoid the traffic of Hanoi with lot of trucks, buses… We head on mountain road and ride to Bac Yen for lunch,
In the afternoon, we will conquer the Ta Xua mountain and descend on the other side to Tram Tau where we get more fuel then ride up to the top of the mountain to Cu Vai village where we spend the night in a village of H’Mong ethnic.

We ride to Nghia Lo valley, one of the biggest mountain valleys for rice fields in the Northwest then we follow the Road 32 to explore one of the most beautiful rice terraces of Vietnam in Tu Le and Mu Cang Chai.
After lunch in a local restaurant, we will turn on a small road to ride into a very remote area before taking a boat trip for 30 minutes to a village of Black Thai for the night.

The day starts with another boat trip to take us to the most remote land of the Northwest where there is not even any traffic on the road. We will ride over the Phu Tang village to the road 279 for lunch then we ride down to the Da River and get another boat trip for about 1 hour to explore the most amazing scenery of the Da River.

- Tua Chua – Sapa, 190km
We cross the Da River again from Dien Bien province to Lai Chau province on a ferry then we will ride through small road through a forest and head up to Sin Ho with the altitude of 1,700m above the sea level. Explore many different ethnic minority villages and then we will ride down to Lai Chau city and in the afternoon it’s amazing drive through Tram Ton Passes where we can have a view of Fansipan Mt.

After the breakfast at the hotel, we ride downhill to Lao Cai then follow a small road along China border to ride to Muong Khuong, Simacai and Xin Man. This road along China border is small paved but there will be many mountain passes and remote area.

Ride over Gio Pass to Quang Nguyen village where there is an option for a single trail with offroad, big rock, river crossing then continue to ride on backroad to Nam Dich village for lunch.
In the afternoon there are still about 70 km offroad and some small backroad
Lung Vai village is a small village located on the side of Tay Con Linh mountain where the Dao ethnic live and we will spend the night in this small village with local people.

We start our Ha Giang loop today by taking a shortcut to Duong Thuong village where it will bring you to the most beautiful landscape of Vietnam, limestone karts of Dong Van Plateau. Rocky, offroad option.

Dong Van Restday
It’s a rest day so you can hang out in the town or ride down to Nho Que River for a boat trip in Tu San Gorge, this is one of the most attractive activities for tourist who do the Ha Giang loop motorbike tours.

- Dong Van – Pac Bo, 170km
In the morning we will ride over the Me Pi Leng pass with spectacular scenery of Nho Que River to Meo Vac then then ride to Khau Vai where we will take the offroad down to Nho Que River for a bamboo raff trip to cross the river, offroad riding along the border belt of Vietnam and China.
In the afternoon we will ride the 14 curves pass of Me Pia before arriving to Pac Bo. Pac Bo is a small village located right at the border of Vietnam and China where uncle Ho after lived and worked in 1941 after 30 years exiles.
The day end in a small, beautiful guesthouse of the Tay ethnic

- Pac Bo – Ban Gioc waterfall – That Khe, 200km
It’s a long day and beautiful day riding motorbike Cao Bang. The land of limestones karst and rivers so we may leave early in the morning to drive along China border to Ban Gioc waterfall, the waterfall is right at the border of Vietnam and China with about 300m large and 35m tall. We will take a bamboo raft trip in the Quay Son river.
We continue riding along the border with China to avoid main road with busy traffic heading to That Khe for the night.

Full day follow the No 4 – also called Route Colonial RC4 or the Highway 4 – was built by the French to supply for the Cao Bang military base. In 1950 Viet Minh aim the border Campaign along the RC4 to open for the supply flow from China for Viet Minh.
We will make some stops along the road to visit and learn about the battlefields.
In the late afternoon, we arrive to the beach of Van Don island, enjoy the beautiful beach.

Early breakfast at the hotel then we get a taxi to Cai Rong port to take the wooden boat to Quan Lan island. Enjoy this slow boat for 2 hours with beautiful scenery, no tourists.
Quan Lan is the Gem of Ha Long Bay with beautiful beaches
Check in hotel and lazy at the beach or hike a local motorbike to explore the island

Free at leisure until 15:30 we will get on a speed boat from Quan Lan island to Ha Long City, the journey take about 1 hour.
16:30 arrive to Ha Long city, our car will transfer to Hanoi

- Private boat trip (4 boat river trip + 1 public boat trip Cai Rong to Quan Lan, and speed boat from Quan Lan back to the mainland), 1 bamboo raft trip

- Personal insurance that cover accident when driving a motorbike in Vietnam

- Any damage to the bike due to the fault of rider
- Tips, beers or alcohol drinks
